I’ve got tons of catching up to do on the blog, but until I find the time, I’m posting a few tidbits from my weddings this past fall. This is an image from the most perfect sunset at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts. If you’re looking for an amazing venue where you can take full advantage of the fall foliage, then this is your place. Thanks so much to Meg + Tom for having me as a part of their wedding!
What can I say about Sasha and Bud…I first met them while photographing Bud’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago. So, when Sasha asked me to photograph her wedding, I was more than overjoyed, not only because Solomon Island is a really great little spot, but also because they are great people along with their entire families.
Everything from this wedding was DIY, the aisle was made of bottles of wine, posed on twigs, filled with wildflowers. Pine cones naturally scattered about. Although nestled in the woods, the sounds of the beach could be heard right behind the pine trees (also avoiding the pesky wind that can sometimes torment beach weddings).
So, long story short, go to Solomon Island when you get a chance. Also, if you’re looking for a live band for your wedding…look no further. Mixed Business is where it’s at.
Their wedding was also featured on Bayside Bride a few short weeks ago, check out their story over there too!
I drove up to visit Katie + Nate for their engagement session on the Eastern Shore, specifically St. Michaels, Maryland. Their neighborhood dock was the backdrop for a beautiful sunset session. You can check out their feature on Charm City Wed today too!
